The Contracts Register Service supports the secure recording and presentation of contract details.
It is a straightforward web-based service designed with ease of use in mind.
Contract information stored in the Contracts Register can be made available for sharing and searching within an Authority. Signing up as part of a group opens up opportunities for contract alignment, consolidation and re-negotiation.
If the demand exists, there is scope for elements of the contract information in the Contracts Register to be made available to the general public, in accordance with guidelines in the national procurement strategy for local government.
